Virginia DUI Death

Posted by Sheridan England | Jan 07, 2024 | 0 Comments

Some DUIs lead to death.

According to REPORTS, a Virginia woman has been charged with a DUI that lead to the death Kevin Barner.   The accused is presumed innocent.

We took some time to research the pending case.  According to Court documents, the case is pending in the Mecklenburg General District Court.  The case is being charged as a DUI/Drugs case, and for the accused it's a 1st offense.  This is a very serious charge that is likely to end up in Circuit Court.  The first court date, set for January 9, was continued.

Cases like these are why law enforcement in Virginia are ramping up DUI enforcement.  It's also why prosecutors aren't just letting people skate by with first offenses.  Don't drink and drive, but if you're arrested for DUI you'll want good representation to defend you.
