Judges Get DUIs Too

Posted by Sheridan England | Dec 02, 2023 | 0 Comments

It's not just you.  According to THIS REPORT, a judge of the San Joaquin County Superior Court had a BAC of .25 after being arrested for DUI.  Making things worse, police claim he fled the scene of an accident before being brought back.  The Judge even got 10 days for a no contest plea.  The folks at the Commission on Judicial Performance were not too happy about this and issued a PUBLIC CENSURE.

Why are we reporting on this?  Here's a hint:  it's not to gloat over a judge who got in trouble.  Everyone makes mistakes.  But like the judge in this case, you can move past it.  A DUI is serious, but if nobody got hurt and you weren't DOING THIS you'll overcome it.  Just make sure you have good representation too help you do it.
