The Department of Justice is putting more resources into fighting gun crimes.

Yeah, we know.  Just finished a felony gun trial.  NOT GUILTY ALL COUNTS.  It's always nice to win one for the GIPPER.  But we digress.

According to REPORTS, the DOJ will "also double down on carjacking and firearms crimes."  This is apparently because in 2023 DC had 274 homicides and 959 carjacking cases.
