π¨ Woman Arrested After DUI Crash Near Capitol Hill
At approximately 2:15 AM, D.C. police responded to a single-vehicle crash at 3rd and East Capitol St NE. A 34-year-old woman was arrested for DUI after allegedly striking a traffic signal pole. No injuries were reported. The driver refused a breathalyzer and was transported to the 1st District station for processing.
π MPD Checkpoints Target Impaired Drivers This Weekend
The Metropolitan Police Department announced increased DUI enforcement this Friday and Saturday night in Southeast D.C. near Pennsylvania Ave and Minnesota Ave. Officers will be conducting sobriety checkpoints from 9 PM to 3 AM.

π§ Arlington: DWI Arrest After Suspicious Vehicle Call
Arlington County Police arrested a 27-year-old man near Columbia Pike and S. Dinwiddie St. after responding to a call about a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road with its engine running. The driver was found asleep behind the wheel and charged with DWI and reckless driving.
β οΈ Fairfax County: Reckless Driving Over 100 MPH on I-66
A 22-year-old driver was arrested in Centreville for reckless driving after being clocked at 107 MPH on I-66. Virginia State Police confirmed the driver had a previous reckless driving conviction and was additionally charged with operating on a suspended license.

π Alexandria DUI Sentencing: Repeat Offender Gets 9 Months
An Alexandria man with two prior DWI convictions was sentenced Thursday to nine months in jail following a January arrest near King Street Metro. The judge cited βclear disregard for public safetyβ in rejecting probation.
