Holidays are to celebrate with family and friends and we know drinks get involved, that's why officers worked to stop drunk and drug-impaired drivers this Thanksgiving.
That's what happened to a 31-year-old woman. According to this REPORT, she was charged with driving under the influence and other violations in a two-car collision early Thanksgiving morning.
Around 1:32 a.m. Nov. 28, police responded to Route 1 North and Parsonage Road on reports of a crash. Upon arrival, authorities found two cars involved in a collision, authorities said. She was charged with three counts of third-degree assault by auto, driving under the influence, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to observe a traffic signal and unsafe lane change.
