Here's an oversimplified explanation. Combs allegedly: 1) tricked people into sex work; 2) hired actual sex workers; 3) plied people with drugs; and 4) filmed a lot of it (with and without consent); and 5) extorted, threatened, and kidnapped people in doing all of these things. 

The optics are bad, but optics aren't the law.  Are there actual defenses here?
