**Assault at Dulles International Airport**
A Maryland resident, Christopher Stuart Crittenden, 54, was arrested after assaulting a United Airlines gate agent at Washington Dulles International Airport. Frustrated by a canceled flight and another fully booked one, Crittenden attempted to access a restricted area. When confronted by the gate agent, he struck the employee, rendering him unconscious. The agent was hospitalized, and Crittenden was charged with assault and disorderly conduct. United Airlines has since banned him from future flights.
**Vehicle-Related Arrests**
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) reported a series of arrests related to unauthorized vehicle use and auto theft:
- **March 7:**
- *David Carabants*, 28, from Riverdale, MD, was arrested in the 1500 block of Wisconsin Avenue, NW, for Theft One (Stolen Auto).
- *Malik Terf*, 18, and *Avery Miller*, 19, were apprehended in the 300 block of U Street, NE, for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle.
- **March 8:**
- *Floyd Clark*, 21, of Northeast D.C., was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle in the 4500 block of Benning Road, NE.
- **March 9:**
- *Kwame Baffour-Akowuah*, 33, from New Castle, DE, was arrested in the 1500 block of Marion Street, NW, for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle.
- **March 10:**
- Three juvenile males, aged 14 to 16, from Southeast D.C. and Hyattsville, MD, were arrested in the 600 block of 46th Place, SE, for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle.
- **March 13:**
- *Precious Spivey*, 19, from Fort Washington, MD, was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle.
- *Terrence Stanley*, 37, from Northwest D.C., was arrested for Theft One (Stolen Auto).
- *Jaquan Johnson*, 30, and *Quinell Ross*, 32, were apprehended in the 3700 block of 12th Street, NE, for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle.
- *James Jones*, 19, of Southwest D.C., was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle in the 200 block of Valley Avenue, SE.
**MPD's Weekly Firearm Recoveries**
Between March 3 and March 10, 2025, the MPD recovered multiple firearms across the city. This initiative aims to reduce gun violence and enhance public safety.
