Man Tries To Pass Off As His Twin To Avoid Arrest (Allegedly!)

Posted by Sheridan England | Jan 23, 2025 | 0 Comments

A 21-year-old man tried to pass off as his twin brother like the movie "The Parent Trap", but instead of meeting his parents, he wanted to avoid getting arrested in Stafford County.

Or so they say.

According to this REPORT, the driver said he had electrical issues while driving and handed the deputy his twin brother's driver's license. SCSO said the twins didn't look identical, which made the deputy skeptical. More deputies responded “to help unwind the twinning mystery.”

After comparing the pictures of the twins and using law enforcement databases, they were able to find their phone numbers. They called the driver's number and his phone began to ring. He finally confessed he had a previous DUI incident and wanted to pass off as his twin brother because his license was revoked.

Instead of getting your twin in trouble, don't talk to the police and call us.
