A Woodbridge man was arrested after dragging police officers with a car while trying to flee from them. Both officers were able to separate from the car as the driver continued, striking another vehicle before fleeing the area entirely.

According to the police and to this REPORT, SCSO deputies found 31-year-old Gideon Owusu Jr. who was described to be armed and dangerous, driving 100 mph and weaving in and out of traffic. Virginia State Police joined the pursuit along with SCSO deputies as Owusu drove into Spotsylvania County.

Finally, the police were able to make contact with his car and arrest him.
